What is AI prompt?
The instruction you type into an AI tool. The clearer and more specific it is, the closer the result is to what you pictured.
A prompt is simply what you ask an AI to do: a question for a chatbot, or a description of the picture or video you want. The AI has no other clue about your intention, so everything it produces is shaped by the words you give it.
Good prompts read like a brief to a professional. Instead of “a girl in a saree”, a strong image prompt names the saree colour and fabric, the jewellery, the pose, the location, the time of day, the lighting and the camera framing. That detail is the difference between a generic picture and one that looks photographed.
Weak vs strong
Weak: “couple photo at sunset”. Strong: “Candid photo of an Indian couple laughing on a Goa beach at golden hour, she wears a pastel lehenga, he wears an off-white kurta, soft backlight, 85mm lens look, natural skin texture, 4:5 portrait.”
