2 AI Updates: Prix AI Launches as OneByZero Raises $20M
Two new AI developments on October 5 show where enterprise artificial intelligence is heading: toward measurable business outcomes and AI systems that operate directly inside companies.
Credgenics launches Prix AI for business-focused voice agents
Indian fintech company Credgenics has launched Prix AI, an enterprise voice-AI platform designed for collections, sales, customer support and reservations. The platform supports more than 12 Indian languages and is positioned around business outcomes such as recoveries and conversions rather than simply measuring the number of calls made. The company says Prix AI is backed by data from more than 1 billion collections conversations.
The idea is to make voice AI more useful for businesses that need an action or result from every interaction.
A typical workflow could look like:
Customer → AI voice agent → understands intent → takes action → measures outcome
This is particularly interesting for India because businesses often need voice automation that works across multiple regional languages rather than relying only on English.
For example, an enterprise could use an AI voice agent to communicate with customers, understand their intent, provide relevant information and guide the conversation toward a measurable business outcome.
The larger trend is a shift from AI that talks to AI that performs a business function.
OneByZero raises $20 million for enterprise AI deployment
Singapore-based OneByZero has raised US$20 million in Series A funding, led by Jungle Ventures. The company says this is its first external funding round.
OneByZero focuses on deploying and managing AI systems inside large enterprises. Instead of selling only a standalone AI application, its engineers work alongside customer teams to identify where AI can create value, connect it with existing systems and workflows, and continue improving the deployment after launch.
The company operates across nine markets, including India, and plans to use the new funding to expand its engineering teams, enter Japan, move into industries such as healthcare and the public sector, and continue developing its NEO platform and AI Coworkers.
NEO acts as an AI deployment and control layer, while AI Coworkers are governed agents with defined roles and controls. OneByZero says its deployments have automated more than 90% of some customer-facing interactions and accelerated complex data-modernisation work by 50%.
The bigger AI trend
These two announcements point toward the same direction.
AI is moving from “Can an AI model answer questions?” to “Can an AI system produce measurable business results?”
Prix AI focuses on voice interactions and outcomes, while OneByZero focuses on deploying governed AI systems inside enterprise workflows.
For AI creators and developers, the opportunity is clear: the next wave of AI automation will increasingly connect models to business data, tools, permissions, workflows and measurable outcomes.
That means successful AI systems may be less about having the biggest model and more about building the right system around the model.
